Phone-first flight desk

Somebody who
actually picks up.

Tell us where you need to be. An agent compares the routes, says the trade-offs out loud, and books the one you choose — while you are still on the line.

Search engines are
fine. Until they
aren’t.

A fare aggregator is very good at showing you two hundred options and no opinion. The thing you usually want is one person who has done this ten thousand times telling you which three are worth your money.

01

Every carrier on one call

Legacy carriers, low-cost operators and codeshares compared side by side while you stay on the line.
02

No fare hunting at midnight

Give an agent your dates and your ceiling. They do the tab-juggling and call you back with options.
03

A person who remembers you

Changes, seat requests and a rebooking after a cancellation go to the same desk, not a queue.

What happens on the call

Three questions, then an itinerary.

01

Tell us the shape of the trip

Where you need to be and roughly when. Fixed dates or a loose window both work — flexibility is where the real savings hide, and an agent will tell you exactly how much a day either side is worth.

02

We compare the routes worth comparing

Not fourteen near-identical itineraries — three or four real choices, with the trade-offs said out loud. The cheap one with a 6-hour layover, the civilised one, and the one that gets you home a day early.

03

You confirm, we hold the details

Seats, baggage allowance, connection times and the carrier’s change rules, read back before anything is booked. Your itinerary lands in your inbox with the desk number on it.

Traveller notes

“I had eleven tabs open and a flight to Porto that kept changing price. One call, twenty minutes, and it was done — including the bit where they talked me out of a 55-minute connection in Heathrow.”
Marisol EtxebarriaBooks four trips a year, hates all of them equally
“Our carrier cancelled at 5:40am and I called the same number I booked on. Someone picked up, found two seats on a different airline, and I made the wedding.”
Dev RamanathanFlew Austin → Kochi with two connections
“What sold me was being told a Tuesday departure would save $214 and then actually being asked whether Tuesday worked, instead of just booking it.”

Straight answers

Before you dial.

Anything not covered here, ask an agent — the desk would rather answer it once, live.

Is Fareline an airline?

No. Fareline is an independent travel desk. We are not an airline and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any carrier. We help you compare and arrange travel with third-party airlines.

What does the call cost?

The call itself is free from US numbers. Where a service fee applies to a booking, an agent tells you the amount before anything is charged — never after.

Can you help with a booking I already have?

Often, yes — changes and cancellations are ultimately governed by the fare rules of the carrier that issued the ticket. Call the desk and an agent will read you what your ticket actually allows.

Do you handle groups and multi-city trips?

Those are the calls we are best at. Anything with more than two passengers or more than two stops is faster spoken than typed into a search box.

Why is there no booking form?

Because the useful part of booking a flight is the conversation about trade-offs. A form cannot ask whether you would trade $180 for a shorter layover. An agent can.
