What we ask for, and why.

Booking a flight means handing over real details about yourself. This page sets out exactly what the desk collects when you call, who it goes to, and how to get it back or have it removed.

01Who we are

Fareline Travel Desk ("Fareline", "we", "us") operates this website and the telephone travel desk reachable at +1 (844) 213-5611. This policy explains what information we collect when you call us or browse this site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Fareline is an independent travel desk. We are not an airline. When a booking is arranged, information necessary to issue your ticket is passed to the airline or ticketing partner that will actually carry you.

02Information we collect

When you telephone the desk, an agent collects only what is needed to search for and arrange travel: your name as it appears on your travel document, contact telephone number and email address, the passengers travelling with you, your origin and destination, dates and any preferences such as seating, baggage or accessibility requirements.

To complete a booking, an airline or ticketing partner may additionally require date of birth, passport or travel-document details, frequent-flyer number and a payment method. Payment card details are collected for the purpose of that single transaction and are handled by our payment processor; we do not retain full card numbers.

When you browse this site we receive the limited technical information any web server receives — IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you viewed. This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and it has no sign-up form, account system or newsletter.

03How we use it

We use the information you give us to search fares and schedules, to quote and arrange the travel you ask for, to issue and service your itinerary, to contact you about a booking in progress or a disruption to a trip we arranged, to take payment, and to keep the records we are required to keep for tax and consumer-protection purposes.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing list because you called the desk.

04Who we share it with

Airlines, ticketing consolidators and global distribution systems, where sharing is necessary to search for, hold or issue the travel you have asked for. These parties handle your information under their own privacy policies.

Service providers who work on our behalf — telephony, payment processing, email delivery and IT hosting — under contracts that limit them to processing information for us and require them to protect it.

Authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law, needed to establish or defend a legal claim, or necessary to protect someone from harm. Some governments require carriers to transmit passenger data for flights into or out of their territory.

05International transfers

Arranging international travel necessarily involves sending information to airlines and reservation systems in the country you are flying to or through. Where information moves between countries we rely on the transfer safeguards available to us, and we limit the information sent to what the carrier or authority requires.

06How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are retained for as long as needed to service the trip and then for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and consumer-protection rules. Call notes kept to help a later agent understand your trip are deleted once they are no longer useful. Enquiries that do not result in a booking are not retained beyond the point the conversation ends, other than any record we need to resolve a dispute.

07Calls and call recording

Some calls to and from the desk are monitored or recorded for training, accuracy and dispute resolution. Where a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of the call, and you may ask the agent not to record. Declining a recording does not affect the service you receive.

08Your choices and rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to a particular use. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To make a request, call the desk at +1 (844) 213-5611 or email desk@fareline.travel. We will ask a few questions to confirm we are speaking to the right person before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows.

09Security

Access to booking records is limited to agents who need it to do their job. This site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfect, so if you believe your information has been exposed, call the desk and tell us — we would rather hear about it early.

10Children

This site and the desk are intended for adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children except as a passenger detail provided by the adult booking the trip.

11Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always the one published here. This version is dated September 2026.
